Password Protect is easy to use. Right-click a folder, select Protect This Folder and enter your password. That`s all there is to do - the folder is protected. Should your PC be rebooted in Windows Safe Mode, DOS or another operating system, your data is safe.
Unlike other utilities, Password Protect never stores passwords on your hard drive or in the Windows registry, where malicious users can easily get them. It stores only the password checksum (unique ID), which cannot be used to get your passwords.
